Programs for Kids and Families at New Hampshire Cross Country Skiing Resorts
- Penguins and Polar Bears - Penguins (ages 6-8) and Polar Bears (ages 9-11) focus on kids having fun on snow while learning how to improve their skiing. Includes trail passes and rentals (if needed), three day camp costs $99, single day costs $40, two-day package costs $75.
- Family Lesson Package - This package was designed for families to learn XC skiing together. The program begins with separate instruction; after the initial lesson the entire family gets together and then can go out as a family.
- Family Snow Days - You get access to all the Snow Day activities for one low price. Cross country ski, snowshoe, snow tube: and you can do it all together as a family. Learn-to-ski lessons are part of the package, but if your family already knows how to ski, come out and enjoy an advanced lesson to brush up on the basics. The kid’s package even includes lunch—the Glen View Kids’ Meal.
- Free Season Pass for Kids - For the 2011/2012 winter season, Great Glen Trails is offering free season passes to children ages 17 and under when that child’s parent or guardian purchases a season pass.
- Ski Pulks - Gunstock rents ski pulks so you can tow your young ones along the trails.
- Kids Rental Equipment - Discounted equipment is available for kids ages 3+ allowing you to get young children out on the trails.
- Ski Pulks - Jackson XC rents ski pulks so you can tow your young ones along the trails.
- Kids Rental Equipment - Equipment is available for kids under 4'9" tall to get young children out on the trails.
- Youth Development Program - Instructors/coaches work to develop and foster a love for Nordic skiing, and skiers will learn both skate and classical techniques. Includes instruction, backcountry adventures and casual tours with fun and games along the way. This Wolfeboro Nordic Youth Development Program is open to any skier, age 6 to 13.
- Kids Power - Kids Power is offered on weekends and provides equipment rentals, trail fees, and a guided two-hour adventure. This two hour program for kids aged 6-12 years old includes a hot chocolate break, games and a tour.
