Learn to XC Ski & Snowshoe Programs
New Hampshire's ski areas specialize in programs that are ideal for getting people to try cross country skiing. Not only are these programs simple and fun, but they offer incredible values to get you hooked on the sport! - Learn to Ski/Learn to Skate Ski - For first timers looking to learn to cross country ski traditional style or skate skiing. Includes a 1 1/2 hour group lesson, trail pass and rental equipment. Lessons are offered at 10am, 11:30 am, and 1pm. Cost is $45 for adults and $30 for children.
- Family Lesson Package - This package was designed for families to learn XC skiing together. The program begins with separate instruction; after the initial lesson the entire family gets together and then can go out as a family. For $45 for adults and $30 for children, this package includes:
- learn to ski lesson
- rental equipment
- trail pass
- hot chocolate
- Mountain Magic Learn to XC ski or snowshoe is just $40 and includes trail pass, rental equipment and lesson.
- Super Saver Package - Includes trail pass, ski rentals and group lesson (a $53 value) for $45 adults, $35 for Juniors (10 - 15) and $41 for Seniors (65+)
- Get 4 and GO - New skiers can get 4 days of rentals, lessons, trails passes and upon completion, a season pass membership for $199.
- Nordic Starter Kit - Enjoy learning the basics of cross country skiing with a lesson, equipment rental and trail pass for $42 ($34 youth/senior) for classic skiing and $46 ($37 youth/senior) for skate skiing.
