Snow Tubing at NH Ski Areas During recent years snow tubing has continued to grow in popularity at Ski NH resorts as a simple, fun way to slide on snow. Snow tubing is as easy as sitting down and letting gravity do the work. Even if you've never seen snow before, your first tube ride can be a fun one. Snow tubing facilities vary from ski area to ski area, with some offering straight, high speed runs, while others offer twisty banked runs. Many of these areas also have a dedicated lift serving the tubing area to quickly get you back up the hill for another run. Tubing is available daily from 10am-6pm mid-December through mid-March. Addtitional evening hours of 6-8pm are available Friday-Saturday December 28-March 9 and the week of February 17-21. Tubes are rented on an hourly basis. Cranmore offers a lift-serviced snowtubing park that has been recently expanded to ten lanes. It is lift-served by both a magic-carpet style lift as well as handle-tow lift. All ages welcome. Children 42 inches and taller may ride solo; little ones may ride with an adult. The park is open Friday-Sunday and holiday periods. Guests can enjoy snowtubing during the daytime or keep going under the lights until 9pm on Fridays, Saturdays and some holiday dates. Granite Gorge offers the 600' Superior Tubing Park serviced by a Wondercarpet Lift. Two-person snowtubes and minitubes for kids are available. Enjoy a full mountain sound system and brand-new lighting. New for this year on Saturday nights is Cosmic Tubing with black lights, fluorescent tubes, light shows and a DJ. Snowtubing is offered Wednesday-Sunday. Great Glen Trails has a recently expanded groomed tubing hill and specialized snowtubes. The hill is a traditional walk-up format that now is three times wider than the older park and can accommodate twice as many tubers. Passes are valid all-day. Thrill Hill Tubing Park offers New Hampshire's longest tubing run, with four chutes serviced by its own handle-tow lift. The tubing hill is typically open from just after Christmas through mid-March and is open Tuesday-Friday nights and all day on Saturday-Sunday with extended hours during holiday periods. Tickets are sold in two-hour blocks and can sell out. The Zoom Zone Traditional Tubing Park is a traditional tubing park with snowtubes available in the rental shop. The Pine Meadows Snowtubing Park is serviced by a handle-tow lift, guests will find a number of groomed "snow chutes" to shoot down. Snowtubing is offered Friday-Sunday and holiday periods. Tickets are sold for 2-hour sessions and can be reserved in advance. Loon's snowtubing park is located on Little Sister with both lift serviced and walk-up tubing available. Tubes are rented by the hour and are steerable and stoppable. The park is open Friday-Sunday from 10am-8pm. As many as ten sessions are offered each day. A Tot tubing area is also available at the base of Little Sister.
McIntyre's lift-serviced snowtubing park was recently expanded to offer over 600ft of fun along with a total of 8 lanes. A wonder carpet lift services the park and is open Friday 4-8pm, Saturday 11am-9pm, and Sunday 11am-7pm. Additional hours are available on vacation weeks, holidays and snow days.
Pats Peak offers a 600 ft. long lift-serviced tubing park with several lanes. Snowtubing tickets are limited so advanced reservations are recommended. Snowtubing is offered Fridays 3-9pm, Saturdays 9am-10pm (5pm - 10pm POP Tubing), Sundays 9am-5pm and Holiday Periods 9am-9pm.
